House of Lies launching on K-PLUS this month would give us a new kind of thrill!
Starring Lim Ji-Yeon & Yoon Kyun-Sang, this is a thriller-mystery drama set in an apartment scheduled for reconstruction. It tells the story of a girl who returns to the place which she dreads the most, in search of her sister who has vanished.
A Dangerous Place Called Home
Ji-na (Lim Ji-Yeon) is a hotel employee who appears to be leading a smooth life but is filled with a strong sense of inferiority. Following her sister’s disappearance, she returns to her family’s house at Rose Mansion to track down the whereabouts of her sister.
Min-soo (Yoon Kyun-Sang) is a persistent detective who continues to investigate the case of the missing girl, even though his colleagues were convinced that the girl disappeared on her own accord. He knows the apartment complex well.
Although he appears to be a strong and reliable man, Min-soo also possesses dark secrets. The further the two dive into the case, the more threats from the neighbors intensify.
Background of the Actors
Both Lim Ji-Yeon and Yoon Kyun-sang are known for their versatile acting skills, and viewers can look forward to yet another breakthrough performance by the actors in this intense thriller.
House of Lies will be the comeback drama for both main leads since Yoon’s Class of Lies and Lim’s Welcome 2 Life in 2019.
Ji-Na invites everyone on her journey to find the whereabouts of her sister’s disappearance. Pairing up with Mi-Soo, a new kind of partner will arise as they discover what lies in the Rose Mansion.
This drama is co-produced by JTBC Studio, BA Entertainment, and Film Monster – the production teams behind well-acclaimed works such as the drama All of Us Are Dead and the movie The Outlaws.
House of Lies is set to premiere on May 14th, every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 pm on tvN. International fans may watch it on K-PLUS.
