Male Solo Artists

Wonho – Losing You
Yes, I am one of those fans that waited for this comeback. I maybe cried when I listened to it for the first time. Wonho’s emotional ballad is a gift for his fans all over the world who missed his voice. The track serves as a pre-debut single to his upcoming solo debut.
Kang Daniel- Who U Are
As expected from the man himself, Kang Daniel gave us a track that’s automatically added to my hype up playlist. It made me bop my head in the first few seconds and I’m sure you would too. You’ll probably sing along to the chorus too.
JYP ft. Sunmi- When We Disco
Park Jin Young delivers a fresh trot track with Sunmi this summer. In my opinion, it’s not cheesy at all and can be enjoyed by any age. It’s nostalgic and sweet! Plus, I really like the story of the music video.
Han Seung Woo- Sacrifice
According to my notes, Han Seung Woo is the guy your girlfriend told you not to worry about. He has it all! I’m not lying: strong vocals, stable rap, dynamic dance skills. Don’t get me started with his visuals. It’s a perfect hype song for people getting ready to party. He surely is a triple threat rookie. Make sure to look out for his high note and topless scene.
Woo Won Jae ft. Tiger JK & Kim Ah Il- Job
If you’re more into hardcore hip hop, Job features strong rappers and a great lyrical message. Their solid bars are perfect for my underground rap enthusiasts out there.
Lee Eun Sang ft. AB6IX Park Woojin- Beautiful Scar
This slow, RnB pop gives listeners a sensual chill with its smooth melody. Woojin’s part is a great mix with Eun Sang’s vocals or maybe I’m just a sucker for rappers. I want more from this duo. They’re addictive and musically brilliant.
- Chill Tracks
Kang Daniel ft. Daun- Movie
Serving as a double to his first title track, Movie’s hip-hop easy listening vibe danced to my ears. It sounded trendy and I had fun peeping at the cameos on his music video. This fresh track will surely make you want to be in Kang Daniel’s friend group.
Peakboy ft. Wheein- Diet
Peakboy became the boy of my dreams when he said that I don’t need to diet. This easy-listening RnB track paired with its sweet lyrics was quickly added to my favorites. Wheein’s vocals are so chill, it came together nicely with Peakboy’s rap verses.
Chancellor ft. Younha- Walking in the Rain
These two are the perfect vocal match!. Chancellor delivers an acoustic easy listening track with chill RnB vibes. It’s a sweet, timeless love song. I first encountered Younha in her track with BTS’ RM, Winter Flower. Hearing her in a relaxed track like this makes me interested in her work even more.
Hong Eunki- Flower
If you want a track that makes you nostalgic, Flower is for you. This song reminds me of summer vacation and hangouts with my friends. It literally feels so youthful, I feel like I became younger when I watched its music video.

Female Solo Artists
- Unexpected Gem
Ahn Yeeun – Trumpet Creeper
This was a cultural shock for me but in a good way. First, there’s a disclaimer in the music video. Apparently, the video has horror themes so it’s not for the faint of heart. Ahn Ye Eun’s haunting and enchanting vocals are so incredible. It’s like she’s casting a spell. The MV stars Korean actor Yoon Kyun Sang, which people might know from his appearances in Pinocchio, The Doctors, and Class of Lies.
- Girl Power Anthems

If there’s a summer party queen, it’s Hyolyn. Known for Dalla and See Sea, Say My Name sounds so distinctly Hyolyn. This hype up sexy track will surely make you dance.

HEDY – You were really not good
This track is simple and elegant. HEDY’s vocal talent is in the spotlight in this ballad. Her strong and stable vocals coupled with her smooth high notes displays her talent.
Jessi- Numb
Numb is Jessi’s shining vocal track from the same album that brought us, Nunu Nana. I swear that song is still stuck in my head. This song is raw and emotional proving that Jessi is more than just a rapper. The English lyrics brings out her uniqueness and personality.
