As an aspiring solo artist, Lee Jun Ho beautifully presented his self-written and composed songs live at his 2022 Before Midnight Concert.
Idol-actor Lee Jun Ho gives an overwhelming warmth and great energy during his three-day fan-con, Before Midnight, held at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, from August 12 to August 14.
Performing a total of 16 songs, Lee Jun Ho displays his versatility as a solo artist. This event has become a memorable night for the fans who love and support the talented idol.
A Sweet Beginning
With his opening song, “Flashlight”, followed by “Instant Love”, and “Nobody Else”; he enabled to showcase his voice’s charming tone.
After his first set of performances, the audience was surprised to hear his sweet greeting.
“Summer is a special season for me, and I opened this fan-con because I want to spend this summer more meaningfully with you guys. I’m really happy to hear your shouts after a long time and it’s like a dream. We’ll have fun performing with loud shouts, so enjoy together different.”
At first, Jun Ho admitted that he was hesitant to hold only a concert because he also wanted to interact with the fans. With that, he thought of having a Fan-con instead so he could perform as well as talk with them.
“There are so many stages I want to show, so I thought about whether I should hold a concert, but I also wanted to have a conversation with you, so I prepared ‘Fancon,’ a combination of a fan meeting and a concert.”
Throwback Stories About Summer
Lee Jun Ho also updated fans about his behind-the-scenes stories acting for the shows, The Red Sleeve and Twenty.
“During the filming of The Red Sleeve, it was very hot. It was not easy to wear those clothes (hanbok). I was weak in the heat because I filmed it even in the midsummer heat wave.”
He even felt the heat while filming Twenty in 2015, along with the actors Kim Woo Bin and Kang Ha Neul.
“I remember the scene where Dong-woo told his mother that he had a girlfriend while moving in. It was a heat wave back then, and it was difficult to film because there were a lot of planes there.”
The idol-actor really loved working on the series as he said in a recent interview that,
“From the time I started filming Twenty, I wanted to film Thirty. At the recent Baeksang Arts Awards, the three met and talked about it. I’m asking director Lee Byung-hun to write Thirty quickly. The biggest problem right now is Lee Junho’s schedule.”
About this, Lee Jun Ho shares that he is still hoping for the opportunity to film again with his co-actors, as he had so much fun.
Regarding this, he said, “My schedule is not the problem. So good. In fact, the three of us were of the same age, so it was fun filming. I hope that such an opportunity will arise.”

In concluding his event, Lee Jun ho expressed his gratitude to his fans.
