Warmly gazing at each other in the new poster released, Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young are set to discover romance in the melodrama, The Interest of Love.
The Interest of Love chronicles the stories of people who meet and discover the true meaning of love.
Portrayed as a melodrama, it follows realistic romantic narratives among men and women with varying beliefs on how love is felt and nurtured. The story features four different bank employees working at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank.
Accordingly, a poster showing the lead couple is unveiled flaunting the emotional stares of Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young.
Yoo Yeon Seok plays Ha Sang-soo, a bank manager who regards love as a constant that maintains a certain value, while Moon Ga Young plays Ahn Soo-yeong, a bank manager who thinks love is a sandcastle that can collapse in an instant.
Foreshadowing the birth of a sympathetic melodrama realistically depicting the feelings of love, The Interest of Love delves into the thrilling world of romance that makes people hesitant to approach.
Through the text written on the poster, the question ‘can you handle everything for love?’ suggests the love story between the lead pairing will not be as sweet as it could be.
Their daily lives are shaken and are expected to understand and process the irresistible emotions they mutually feel despite their respective apprehensions.
Sharing a bit about his character, Yoo said, “There are many scenes that require a lot of concentration because they contain stories that are never light.” He also praises his co-star for pushing him to do well.
“The filming site is always friendly thanks to Moon Ga-young’s good energy. However, the moment the camera turns on, she immerses herself in the role with great concentration, making it possible for me to focus on acting as well.”
Echoing her lead man’s remarks, Moon Ga Young revealed that while she is acting with an actor, she is fully immersed in her character and situation. She also expressed confidence in her co-star.
“I am filming comfortably thanks to a lot of consideration from him. He always checks whether I am okay or not uncomfortable. We also discuss a lot with each other and share our concerns. We are trying to understand love together, so please give us a lot of interest.”
JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama The Interest of Love, which is expected to show melodrama chemistry between Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young, will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on December 21. International fans can watch it on Netflix.
