The Music Icons That Went Beyond Superlatives

Debuted in November 2005, Super Junior was initially conceived as an all-boy project group with members that will embark on other entertainment platforms. Thereafter, they excelled in numerous activities including solo and unit ventures in various fields of the entertainment industry.

Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are currently dubbed as “King of Hallyu Wave” and for a lot of commendable reasons.

Their contributions to the Korean wave continuously run on an impressive note. From their debut song “U” – the group proceeded to magnify a pile of extraordinary feats as Korean music icons.

Since their debut, Super Junior has released 12 full-length albums, two compilation albums, two extended plays, six live albums, and two single albums. They catapulted into stardom with their best-selling single “Sorry Sorry” in 2009 and further gained international recognition with their catchy and game-changing tracks “Bonamana,” “Mr. Simple,” and “Sexy, Free, and Single,” among others.

On July 12, the group will release their eleventh Korean studio album The Road: Keep on Going. Their upcoming concert tour will be held in conjunction with the release of their newest music offering.

The SUPER SHOW 9: ROAD in Manila is brought to fans by PULP Live World, Happee Hour, SM Entertainment, SJ Label and Dream Maker.
