Yoo Yeon Seok broadens his acting spectrum with confirmed participation in an international film.
King Kong by Starship announced Yoo Yeon Seok will appear in French film Matin Calme (Silent Morning) by French director Denis Dercourt (The Page Turner, Tomorrow at Dawn)
Matin Calme threads on the story of a medical examiner and a Korean detective who join forces to unearth the mystery surrounding a dead body. In the process, they stumble on more disturbing issue.
In the film, Yoo portrays is detective Park Jin-ho who has a straight-forward appearance and fluent English. He leads the story by solving the case with French forensic professor Alis Lone, played by Ukrainian-French actress, Olga Kurylenko. The actress has starred in popular films Quantum of Solace, Oblivion, November Man and The Room among others
Recently, the actor stars in widely-praised series, Hospital Playlist as 1/5 of the endearing doctor circle. He also appeared in the film Steel Rain 2: Summit in July this year.
Matin Calme has begun filming last September.
