It’s a romcom cohabitation drama for the two popular Hallyu stars in My Demon!
A drama official hinted to JTBC Entertainment news on January 18 that Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang will play the main characters in My Demon.
My Demon (LT) is a thrilling-action romantic comedy series. It depicts the romance of living together with Do Do-hee, a chaebol heiress who is infamous for being true blue wicked, and a demon who loses his ability overnight.
First, Kim Yoo Jung plays Do-hee, a salt latte-like woman who goes back and forth between endearing and annoying. She looks arrogant and elegant on the outside, but in reality, she is hopelessly mercurial.
Emerging as an ‘icon of first love’ through the Netflix movie 20th Century Girl last year, she is also aiming for the title of “trustworthy rom-com queen”.
On the occasion of her 20th debut anniversary, she plans to challenge herself with a new work. Following the scheduled meeting with the audience from the 28th with Shakespeare in Love, she chose My Demon as her next work.
Next, Song Kang portrays Jung Gu-won. A man who is like a warm iced coffee. He is superior to humans in every way, but after losing his ability, he works with Do Do-hee to regain his lost ability. In the process, the romance between the two is expected to cause excitement in viewers.
The meeting between the two phenomenal and well-loved actors is an unusual combination and takes pride in the evident visual chemistry.
