Acquainting viewers with its latest delightful K-Drama treat, KBS2 rolled out interesting teasers for Heartbeat!
Heartbeat foretells the cohabitation story between a half-human-half-vampire and a recluse woman who somehow starts living together and finds true warmth.
Ok Taecyeon portrays Seon Woo-hyul, a trendsetter who ensures he’s the first to try novelty items that come into the land as soon as it becomes available. He is also desperate to become a human.
Meanwhile, suiting up to the role of Joo In-hae is rising actress Won Ji An. Joo In-hae, a part-time health teacher and guest house owner, is sketched as a cold-blooded human. She finally becomes a person with humanity after meeting Seon Woo-hyul.
Previously, the production team released two teaser posters of the lead characters. Strong visuals of Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji An in their respective characters draw attention.
Vampire-in-distress Woo-hyul appears with pointed nails and sharp teeth. Looking dapper he dons a black shirt as sexy as it can be.
On his poster, his yearning for human emotion reflects: “I have never been human, so my heart never beats.” It seems to contain his inner feelings of wanting to become a human because he wants to fall in love with his heart.
Then, In-hae who exudes a fascinating vibe appears being held by her nape by a vampire’s hand.
“Remember me with my blood” is written on the poster which hints at how Sunwoo’s blood has somehow become intertwined with her.
Subsequently, the main poster shares a bright picture of the love pairing seemingly in an awkward stage of discovering love.
With her cold personality, In-hae asks, “Are you running here in my heart by any chance?” It poses an engrossing question of what will make vampire Woo-hyul beats when his heart can’t beat at all.
Moreover, the cat guarding their side also draws attention. It arouses curiosity as to why he is looking at Ok Taek-yeon and Won Ji-an.
Accordingly, character stills were unveiled showing their opposite personalities. They look bickering while cleaning in broad daylight as if they had started living together.
Heartbeat premieres on June 26 on KBS2!
