A desperate survival game of the absolute wicked is pictured in the latest posters of 7 Escape.
Featuring villains as main characters in a revenge story, 7 Escape draws attention for its solid casting.
The series narrates the story of seven people who are involved in the disappearance of a girl. Lies and desires intertwine leading to the girl’s vanishing. It is a picaresque revenge drama depicting the struggle for survival of seven villains and the bloody retribution against them
Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yu Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon and Lee Duk Hwa star in the new drama slated to air on September 15.
Previously, the first teaser video foresees a more unconventional and sophisticated ‘Kim Soon-ok World’. It announced the intense return of the absolute powerhouse of the K-revenge story with development beyond imagination and a unique character structure worthy of being dubbed as a “villain characters’ restaurant”.
Meet The Cast of 7 Escape
In 7 Escape, Uhm Ki Joon plays Matthew Lee, the CEO of Korea’s largest mobile platform company and a punisher of evil. Hwang Jung Eum portrays Geum Ra-hee, the talented and bold head of a drama production company.
Lee Joon transforms into Min Do-hyeok, a man who lives without a dream or hope, and Lee Yu Bi characterizes Han Mo-ne, a universal star with a fatal weakness.
Shin Eun-kyung takes the role of Cha Joo-ran, an obstetrician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology who doesn’t know where to go, and Yoon Jong Hoon suits up as Yang Jin-mo, the CEO of Cherry Entertainment, a master of slander.
In addition, Jo Yoon Hee plays Go Myeong-ji, an art teacher who always lies, Jo Jae Yoon as Nam Cheol-woo, head of detectives at the Deokseon Police Station. Next, Yoon Tae Young is Kang Ki-tak, the CEO of Taebaek Entertainment who is kept in check by Yang Jin-mo. He plans to show off the world’s one-of-a-kind ‘villain’.

In the first group poster, the “convict” who designed a brutal game for bloody punishment, and the seven people struggling on the board he created raise expectations for a never-before-seen picaresque.
First of all, the phrase “hell came on the day the rain of lies fell” suggests the bloody judgment and indelible sin that will fall on the 7 wicked people. The 7 people who survived by trampling on someone face a headwind at the peak of their lives.
The heavy rain pouring down on their heads is whipping them down as if pulling them to the ground. As if they couldn’t fall down like this, the madness of the seven people pushing each other and trying to escape caused goosebumps.
The presence of Matthew Lee (played by Uhm Ki Joon), who looks down on their outbursts as if they are laughing, is overbearing. Matthew Lee moves a chess piece with a cool expression. The appearance of the seven people desperately running away and the fallen chess piece in the bloody puddle that followed seem to see their fate.
