Suitmaker Kang Han-soo

Portraying Kang Han-soo, Woo Do Hwan challenges a role that is similar to today’s brain-sexy man. Interestingly, Kang Han-soo is dubbed a “suitmaker” who causes all sorts of lawsuits to take revenge on the enemies of his parents who were unfairly killed.

When it comes to the law, he is a knowledgeable person who not only covers civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, but also masters the laws of the Ming Dynasty, the Analects, and other foreign laws.

Following the first set of teaser photos of the actor, another batch was unveiled wherein Woo Do Hwan is seen in character as Han-soo.

He makes a case in his favor by changing the flow of the case in front of the judge and the crowd, while unknowingly bringing out the anger and resentment of the people with his charm.

Starting with a vengeful heart, attention is also focused on his performance as a strong contributor to the fall of the powerful and restoring the human rights of the people.

Captivating Judge Yoo Ji-sun

As the highest official in Hanseongbu, Joseon judge Ji-sun also came from a prestigious family. He is a person who strives for fair judgment.

Suiting up to Ji-sun’s role, Cha Hak Yeon raises the charm of the character as one who brings sympathy and excitement to the story.

The production team hints that he is a person who suffers from feeling the gap between his ideals and reality.

A Princess Seeking For Revenge

Challenging her first historical drama, Kim Ji Yeon plays the role of Lee Yeon-ju, the daughter of the late king.

Her father, King Seon, lost his life after failing to finish the compilation of the code of law that his father worked so hard on. Yeon-ju wants to avenge her father and drive the evil ministers out of the court.

She is a true noblesse oblige who believes that revenge is ultimately only worthwhile when it is for the sake of the country and the people. From there, she takes a new identity as Sowon who will face turbulent events.

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Joseon Lawyer is broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 pm in March following Kokdu: Season of Deity.
