The female lead of MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama commands attention with her radiant beauty and confidence.
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract is adapted from a popular webcomic of the same name into a romance fantasy series revolving around a girl from the Joseon period who
travels to modern times. Park Yeon-owo, (Lee Se Young), a lady from an influential family in the 19th century, suffers a sad fate and gets thrown into a well. She then wakes up in the year 2023 and ends up in a fake marriage with a man who looks like her ex-husband (Bae In Hyuk).
To be directed by Park Sang Hoon (My Secret Terrius), penning the script is Wife Scandal writer, Go Nam-jung.
In the drama, Lee Se Young takes on the role of Park Yeon-woo, a Joseon Confucian girl who crosses 200 years and ends up in South Korea in 2023 after being kidnapped and thrown into a well.
The actress challenges a unique acting transformation as the dignified yet lovely Park Yeon-woo, who braves an unexpected fate.

Accordingly, the teaser poster released on October 10 emphasizes the “double charm” of Lee’s character.
Combining the unique old-fashioned and modern vibe, the teaser poster stimulates curiosity by showing Park Yeon-woo, a Joseon Confucian girl, standing at the border point in front of the palace gate where the buildings of 19th century Joseon and 21st-century modern city are spread out inside and out.
In particular, Park Yeon-woo exudes an elegant charm with her off-white jeogori, red skirt, and finely braided hair. She stares with clear eyes at the front of the door, which shows the scenery of 19th century Joseon, while at the same time looking to step into the 21st century, the world outside the door.
Butterflies are flying on both sides of Park Yeon-woo, creating a cryptic mood, raising expectations for a fantasy romance drama.
