Weak Hero Class 2 picks up where its gripping predecessor left off, diving even deeper into the brutal reality of school violence and the resilience it takes to stand against it.
This season follows a determined student who, after failing to protect a friend from bullies at his former school, transfers to Eunjang High with one mission—never to lose another friend again. However, as he steps into his new environment, he finds himself facing an even greater force of violence, testing his strength, loyalty, and survival instincts like never before.
Following the success of Weak Hero Class 1, which gained critical and fan acclaim for its raw storytelling and intense performances, the sequel introduces fresh conflicts, new alliances, and a dynamic mix of returning and new cast members. Park Ji Hoon (Weak Hero Class 1, Love Song for Illusion) reprises his role as Yeon Si-eun, now navigating the dangers of Eunjang High alongside new friends: Ryeoun (Twinkling Watermelon) as Park Hu-min, Choi Min-yeong (XO, Kitty) as Seo Jun-tae, and Lee Min-jae (Uprising) as Go Hyun-tak.
Yu Su Bin (D.P.) returns as Choi Hyo-man, whose intense standoff with Si-eun in the previous season left viewers on edge. Adding to the tension, Bae Na-ra (D.P. Season 2) plays Na Baek-jin, while Lee Jun Young (Badland Hunters) joins as a key member of The Union, an ominous force that embodies the escalating violence Si-eun must now confront.
With higher stakes, complex character dynamics, and an unflinching look at the dark realities of school violence, Weak Hero Class 2 promises to be a thrilling, emotionally charged continuation that pushes Si-eun further than ever before.
