The head of Dingzhuang Group, Gu Ling Se (Wang Pei Han), and the “puppet” head of Weilai Group, Ye Cheng Shu (Chen Ze), agreed to be engaged for 99 days.
Furthermore, as they spend time and worked together, true love burned their engagement contract. The two also got to know each other hidden struggles and helped them to conquer and achieve goals.

Gu Ling Se And Ye Cheng Shu Balanced Synergy
Love Together introduced its lead characters incisively. Gu Ling Se has a charismatic and powerful character, unlike most female lead casts. On the other hand, Ye Cheng Shu has a softer and warmer personality that perfectly fits with Ling Se’s.
However, I was hoping for a more grandeur first meeting between the two. Ling Se and Cheng Shu’s romance development is also immediate for me, and I wasn’t able to fully digest it quickly.
Their chemistry was also a slow burn for me. Though there are many passionate scenes in the first few episodes, which is overwhelming, I slowly began to feel Ling Se and Cheng Shu’s affection as beyond their contract.
In addition, even though Ling Se shows a powerful personality, Cheng Shu was able to see her vulnerable side. And with Cheng Shu’s “weaker” characteristic, Ling Se’s passionate outlook in life helped him to become braver.
Justifies What A True Business Partner Is
In the marketing industry, I finally understand the importance of relationships in doing business after I watched the series. It reminds its audience that as we achieve our dreams, a true partner will always stay.
Ling Se and Cheng Shu do not only found themselves good business partners, but they also found romance and friendship between them. A trustworthy business partner should not only use you in times of difficulty.
The same goes for friendship, love, and family. Love Together shows the importance of finding someone who will never leave and encourages our endeavors.
Also, Li Yan’s character, Jiang Han, made an impact and mark on me. I have had a love and hate relationship with him because of what he is experiencing.
Still, because of his character, the series was able to show that jealousy and revenge will not bring any good. He also taught the audience the importance of contentment and cherishing those who care for us.
With his actions, he lost his friends, family, and himself. Nevertheless, I’m glad that the narrative gave him a chance to change and correct his mistakes.
A Feel-Good Drama That Pivots About Family
I recommend Love Together as a drama to watch when taking a break from heavy dramas. The series has a simple storyline but includes important lessons about life.
I love how the series also balances out the corporate storyline and the lighter story about family. Honestly, the script and flow about the business subject were heavy and confusing for me.
Nonetheless, the series was able to get back and track with a simpler and warmer story about the characters. It left a very heartwarming and inspiring story on cherishing our loved ones.
