The romantic and light-hearted drama series Love You Seven Times (七时吉祥), starring Yang Chaoyue (杨超越) and Ryan Ding (丁禹兮), emerged in the list of Top 3 iQIYI popular titles since its premiere on iQIYI.
Produced by Stellar Media, which previously produced the phenomenal blockbuster Love Between Fairy and Devil (苍兰诀), Love You Seven Times received compliments from Esther Yu (虞书欣), who posted about it on Weibo and signed off as the fairy Xiao Lan Hua.
Other than marking a year’s anniversary of Love Between Fairy and Devil’s broadcast, the indirect connection between both dramas made audiences look forward to the broadcast of Love You Seven Times.
Yang Chaoyue and Ryan Ding, who unexpectedly had to go through seven lives, turned into a violent pig and a cute white tiger in their first lives. It tells the story of Xiang Yun (played by Yang Chaoyue) and Chu Kong (played by Ryan Ding), who accidentally got bounded by the red thread while quarreling and were punished to go through seven lives of love before returning to the heavenly realm.
