On March 22, 2025, BOYNEXTDOOR turned the Araneta Coliseum into the site of a massive party as they brought their KNOCK ON Vol. 1 tour to Manila, treating Filipino fans to an unforgettable evening of powerful performances and heartfelt moments.
The atmosphere inside the venue was electric even before the show officially began, with some ticketholders already having a blast during soundcheck with JAEHYUN, SUNGHO, RIWOO, TAESAN, LEEHAN, and WOONHAK. The energy only intensified at showtime, when the lights dimmed and the first beats of “Earth, Wind & Fire” blasted through the speakers.
BOYNEXTDOOR wasted no time setting the tone for the evening, delivering one explosive performance after another, turning the stage into their personal playground—and the official fandom, known as ONEDOOR, responded in kind. The crowd cheered enthusiastically as the boys segued into “Dangerous,” “But I Like You,” and “l i f e i s c o o l,” each track highlighting their effortless stage presence, smooth vocals, and synchronized choreography.
They had the entire arena waving their lightsticks in the air as they delivered “OUR” and one of their biggest hits to date, the cheerful “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.”
The concert wasn’t just about the music. The band kept the audience fully engaged by doing their best to speak in Filipino. LEEHAN charmed with “Masaya kami makita kayo,” while WOONHAK drew laughter with, “Edi wow!” Earlier, during their performance of “But I Like You,” JAEHYUN said, “ONEDOOR, mahal kita,” then followed it up with a squeaky-voiced reprise in “ABCDLOVE,” as he and the others playfully used their BBNEXDO dolls as props. Not to be outdone, TAESAN joined in, saying, “Gusto kita.”
A surprise karaoke challenge saw the group asking fans to sing along to “But I Like You,” only to be blown away by their enthusiasm and talent. TAESAN, in awe, said, “You guys are amazing,” while JAEHYUN added, “Are you pros or what? Shouldn’t you guys be on stage instead?”
During “Crying,” they glided across the stage with synchronized grace. When they launched into “Fadeaway,” the pop-rock groove of the song ignited the arena as the fans jumped in time to the beat.
One of the best moments of the evening came during BOYNEXTDOOR’s performance of “So let’s go see the stars,” a shimmering synth-pop track with romantic lyrics. The members stretched the song out, encouraging those in attendance to sing the chorus back to them. As they pointed their mics toward the audience, fans’ voices filled the Araneta Coliseum while the group listened intently, fully immersing themselves in the moment. Just when fans thought the concert was over, the members ran back on stage for another round of “But I Like You.”
Things took an emotional turn when Filipino ONEDOOR surprised them with a touching fan video filled with heartfelt messages, clips of fan art, and footage of themselves dancing to “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.”
Moved by the gesture, TAESAN shared, “It’s so cute just to imagine that you were actually filming this one by one and having it all together. I’m so touched. You guys came here to watch our concert. We should actually be giving you good memories. But thanks to you, ONEDOOR, you gave us so many good memories to cherish.”
JAEHYUN expressed how proud he was of the fans and how happy he felt that his family could witness their love firsthand. “Today, my mom and dad came here,” he said. “Today, ONEDOOR’s energy was so amazing, so I will say to my mom, ‘This is my ONEDOOR.’”
“Your cheers are just really, really hot. Today has been a great memory for me. I really want to thank you so much. I hope we can see one another again,” LEEHAN said. “Magkita tayo ulit. Mahal ko kayong lahat.”
Presented by KOZ ENTERTAINMENT, HYBE, YJ Partners and PULP Live World, the Manila leg of KNOCK ON Vol. 1 proved that BOYNEXTDOOR’s music and popularity transcend borders. BOYNEXTDOOR’s first concert in Manila was a night that both the group and their fans will remember for years to come.
