Singer-actor Cha Eun Woo conveys his heartfelt feelings about the ending of his latest project, Island.
Fantagio unveiled the actor’s final shooting certification photo along with his warm words for the experiences while filming.
In the drama, he portrays the role of Johan, the youngest exorcist from the Vatican.
In the thrilling finale of Island, Cha Eun Woo vaunted impressive character growth for Johan. In order to save Jeju, which was in danger due to Gung-tan’s immense power, he exploded his inherent holy power and fought a final battle with the lust demons.
Through his agency, Cha Eun Woo relays his gratefulness for the project.
“Island is a work I am thankful for because it allowed me to take on a new challenge. As it was my first time taking on a new genre, there were many things I was worried about, but I understood Johan’s inner wounds and felt a lot of things as we grew up together. It was a work that I could learn from, so I think the times I spent as Johan will remain in my memory for a long time.”
He also treasures the time spent with the cast and crew.
“Thank you to the director, writer, senior and junior actors, and all the staff who gave me a treasure-like time together with Johan on the beautiful Jeju Island. It was a precious time to learn many things.”
Lastly, Cha Eun Woo thanks his faithful fans and drama supporters for their love.
