Wrapping up his successful first-ever fan meeting in Japan, the Extraordinary Attorney Woo actor delighted fans at the Kang Ki Young Japan 1st Fan Meeting.
On October 26, Kang Ki Young made meaningful memories with fans through his fan meeting. Held at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka, Japan, this marks the actor’s first overseas fan meeting since his debut.
Filled with various fun corners to convey his diverse charms, the event spanned a total of 120 minutes.
During the fan meet, the actor talked about behind-the-scenes stories during the filming of Extraordinary Attorney Woo. In the drama, he played the well-loved character of Park Eun Bin’s “Unicorn Work Mentor” Jung Myung Seok.
In the subsequent talk, his co-star Joo Jong Hyuk, whom he worked with Extraordinary Attorney Woo, made a surprise appearance as a guest. Joo remarked,
“Whenever I am having a hard time, I feel better when I receive Ki Young hyung‘s energy. He’s the person I want to see when he’s not around.”
Receiving a warm response from the audience by showing a realistic performance, the actor re-enacts some of the famous lines from Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
Serenading fans with his sweet voice, Kang Ki Young showcased his singing skills by performing Lim Young Woong’s “Trust In Me.” He then wrapped up the event by singing Hirai Ken’s “Hitomi Wo Tojite” for his Japanese fans.
Expressing his gratitude to fans by quoting a line from his drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, the actor conveyed,
“I had a great time today. I can’t believe that I’m holding a fan meeting in Osaka even after it’s over. There will be no emotions like today. Because you guys are extraordinary fans.”
Meanwhile, Kang Ki Young is preparing for his new project.
