Byeon Woo Seok embodies the role of Ryu Su-jae, the lead vocalist of the popular band Eclipse. With his captivating visual appeal and ability to seamlessly transition between high school romance and mature charm, he ignited a “Seonjae craze” among viewers.

Talking about his Monday cure nickname, he quipped, “I used to dislike Mondays too. I understand those who eagerly anticipate its end. I’m thrilled.” Expressing his lighthearted perspective, he added, “After all, there are only three days to endure until Friday, right? I just need to work hard for three days of the week.”

Acknowledging the acclaim he received for his performance, he shared, “My colleagues praised my comedic timing, wondering how I pulled it off so effortlessly.” He attributed his confidence to the director’s encouragement, which enabled him to embrace his comedic role with boldness.

Reflecting on Sun-jae’s allure, Byeon Woo Seok identified “steadfastness” as the character’s defining trait. “Isn’t Sun-jae’s charm his willingness to sacrifice for love, his patience, and his ability to take the first step?” he mused, emphasizing the contrast between himself and his character.

Moreover, Byeon Woo-seok recounted a moment of excitement during filming with Kim Hye Yoon, who plays Im Sol. Recalling the swimming pool scene, he admitted feeling elated as Hye-yoon approached him. “Her dedication to her craft and the emotions she evoked as Sol-yi truly impressed me,” he confessed.
