Cha Eun Woo Goes Adorably Candid & Insightful In Recent Interview

On his way to building a diverse career as an artist, Cha Eun Woo has been proving he’s more than just a pretty face.

If you had tuned in to his most recent drama as well as his previous roles, you would have realized how much he has grown. In his latest video interview, the singer-actor wittily responded to questions in his own flair.

Confirming his busy schedule with True Beauty and variety show All The Butlers, he thankfully was able to visit his parents during the Lunar New Year holidays. He ate a lot of delicious dishes and took his time to recharge while on break.

After his acting stint, Eun-woo looks forward to meet his fans through music. “We are preparing Astro’s new album for our comeback,” he said.

Slowly making a name as a triple-threat entertainer, he has been carving his presence in music, acting and entertainment. Admitting that there are times when it could be difficult and exhausting; he wakes up eager to work and looks back on it with fondness.


On Improving His Acting Skills

Wrapping up on a high note, Cha Eun Woo gained even more recognition for his role in True Beauty. The youth series made him consider doing action-comedy work someday.

Playing the role of Su-ho in the series, the actor acknowledged his shortcomings. He also humbly accepts acting advice for his pursuit of improving his craft. But he confessed not listening to unsolicited negative feedback while filming so as not to shake his confidence.

Sharing True Beauty has put a lot of pressure because of the webtoon’s popularity, he aimed to immerse himself and not feel it as trouble.

He said, “Just because you have a burden it doesn’t mean it makes things not go well. I think it’s a wise way to express well by immersing in the character and acting confidence entrusted to me.”

Beaming while confessing he likes being complimented on his handsome face, he playfully remarked that he does not get tired listening to it.

He also smartly responded to his face being a limitation to acting roles he can have.

“I want to break the prejudice that I only stick to cool roles. I really have a great desire for a challenge. I think I have many more features that have not been shown yet. I believe that showing one by one step by step will naturally break the prejudice.”

Showing love for the experience he keeps gaining from All The Butlers, he gave another sound answer. He mentioned how meeting people who have mastered expertise felt like reading a knowledge-nourishing book. The experiences he learned from them felt like reading two or three books.


Eun-woo’s Destressing Activity & Goal

To relieve stress, Cha Eun Woo usually plays sports like soccer and basketball. He also revealed a new hobby he got after the Lunar New Year holidays. Stumbling on a book at his parent’s home, he read the manga Three Kingdoms by Lee Moon-yeol, which he used to read when he was a child. He has since started re-reading it.

Growing up to be a person his parents can be proud of, Eun-woo was asked about his goal. And he gave a meaningful answer of wanting to be trusted so he can hear the words “you are a very good friend”.

Currently, Cha Eun Woo contemplates what kind of role he will take for his next project.
