Brimming with manly charms and talents, Kim Nam Gil made his domestic fans happy at his recent fan concert!
The 2023 Kim Nam Gil fan concert Again in Seoul was held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on June 10.
The star of Through the Darkness and The Fiery Priest had an eventful moment with fans who filled 3,000 seats.
At this fan concert, Kim Nam Gil prepared a sound check event to reveal the rehearsal site.
Impressively, he presented a fantastic live stage of 17 songs that he personally selected to match the rich sound of a 6-member band session and a 3-member mixed chorus.
In addition, the “Candy dance stage” and the talk show “Kim Nam-gil’s Drive” where the chemistry with MC Hwang Je-seong stood out, showed extraordinary love for fans that filled up 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Kim Nam-gil sang Seo Taiji’s “Heffy End” for his opening stage. Greeting and thanking the fans who came to the venue, his fans responded with enthusiastic cheers raising the excitement of the concert.
Following the single “You Don’t Know” released in 2013, he performed cover songs of “Around 30”, “Reverberation”, and “Run With Me”.
Comedian Hwang Je-seong appeared as a host and showed extraordinary chemistry with the actor.
Through the “Kim Nam-gil’s Drive” corner, the two continued their colorful talks and had time to communicate directly with the fans.
In addition, various corners decorate the fan concert like “Balance Game”, “Ask Anything”, and SONGprise.
In particular, Kim Nam Gil perfectly digested NCT DREAM’s remake song Candy with the original HOT choreography and styling, heating up the concert atmosphere even more. The moment he appeared in “candy style”, cheers from the fans filled the hall, and he perfected the choreography prepared with the dance team as well as singing and rapping.
Thereafter, he crooned “Flying Through The Midnight” on another stage and provided a special fan service by going up and down the first and second floors of the venue to meet the audience in close contact.
In response, the fans rewarded each other with a group cheer and sang along to the last song, “To You” giving each other a gift-like time.
Obliging to the fans’ request for an encore stage, Kim Nam Gil returns to the stage savoring the cheering message of his fans.
Appreciating his supporters, he conveys heartfelt gratitude.
“This fan concert was able to be completed thanks to the fans who filled the seats. I got bronchitis right before the performance. With the mindset that I could get better, I focused only on recovery, and fortunately, on the day of the performance, I miraculously improved. I couldn’t let the fans know that I was sick unless I canceled the performance, but I was so grateful to hear from the fans that they knew everything and came with a heart of support, so I wanted to sing at least one more song. I’m thankful to you for helping me recover my health. Thank you again to all of you who have been with us at the Seoul Fan Concert.”
Kim Nam Gil plans to continue the Again global tour in major cities around the world, including Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore.
