When she receives a financial offer from her boyfriend’s mother to end the relationship, Yoon-seo contemplates walking away, fearing the complications of being involved with a “prince.” Shin remarked, “For Cinderella, 2 a.m. might be when reality hits hardest, making her feel more disheartened than before the ball.” Yoon-seo’s struggle is not about love, but about maintaining her sense of self in the face of overwhelming circumstances.
Moon Sang Min, who portrays Seo Joo-won, described his character as the ideal prince—handsome, wealthy, and kind-hearted. Despite the challenges posed by their different backgrounds, Joo-won is determined to win Yoon-seo back, believing that love should not be constrained by societal expectations.
