You might find the background of Kim Sejeong’s early morning workout familiar as seen in Today’s Webtoon.
In the first episode, On Ma-eum a judo athlete turned webtoon service contract employee, runs diligently in the backdrop of Naksan Park.
This park has been featured in quite strikingly sweet scenes from your favorite completed Korean dramas including Run On, Because This Is My First Life and Radio Romance. Something about the ambiance of the park evokes intimacy and sincerity that it’s a perfect moment for all those K-Drama confessions or of characters deeply ruminating to happen.
Visit Korea shares Naksan Park gets its name from its camel hump-like appearance. The mountain is a solid granite bedrock. The Joseon royal family enjoyed the natural beauty of the granite mountain, but during the Japanese Colonial Period, a hasty manner of urban planning resulted in the demolition of most parts of the mountain.
In an effort to save the remaining green belts, Naksan was designated as a park on June 10, 2002. Located in the center of Seoul, this historical and beautiful park allows its visitors to view the magnificence of the entire city.
