For his latest role, Daniel Choi portrays a deputy editor in a webtoon workplace.

Today’s Webtoon is a remake of a Japanese drama 중쇄를 찍자! Jūhan Shuttai! derived from a manga of the same name. Chronicling the life of a judo athlete who gets injured and settles into a new job as a webtoon editor.

In the Korean adaptation, Kim Sejeong plays the role of On Ma-eum, a new employee who survived fierce competition in getting a job in a webtoon editorial department. The actress is set to challenge the struggle of a rookie office worker.

Suiting up as the male lead is promising actor Nam Yoon Su who takes the role of Gu Jun-young. The rough sketch of his character says he is a dedicated person with a sincere heart working as an editorial staff member.

Meanwhile, Daniel Choi portrays Seok Ji-hyung who keeps an unfathomable expression. He is a reliable mentor who silently supports On Ma-eum even when he delivers factual opportunities for her to improve her work.

Making his small-screen return after four years, Daniel Choi last appeared in The Ghost Detective with Park Eun Bin. His other notable works include Jugglers, School 2013 and Baby-Faced Beauty.

Expectations are high as to what kind of collaboration he will deliver with Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su.
