Hyeri Celebrates Her Birthday With A Good Will

Happy Birthday Lee Hyeri!

What an amazing way to share her blessings on her birthday! Donating 50 million won to UNICEF, it will be used for the “we=she” campaign supporting women’s hygiene products.

The actress empathizes on how many girls around the world suffer from difficulties during their menstruation period.

“It was heartbreaking to hear that there are many female students who do not attend school at all because there are no separate toilets for men and women. We hope that it will help in some small way for all girls to grow up happily in a safe and clean environment,” she said.

UNICEF Korea Committee Secretary-General Lee Ki Cheol said, “Hyeri’s support delivered a warm gift on her birthday. Although she is said to be the youngest member of the Honors Club, Hyeri, who cares for her surroundings, has a deeper and wider grasp than anyone else. She is a role model for me and the staff,” he added.

Secretary-General Lee concluded, “We will use the funds for a safe and clean world for girls in developing countries.”

Previously, Hyeri donated 100 million won to ‘Schools for Asia’, an education program for Asian children in 2019, and became the youngest member of UNICEF’s ‘Honors Club’.
