Koo Kyo Hwan Overwhelms Viewers With His Heartfelt Performance In “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

Appearing as Bang Gu-ppong in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Koo Kyo Hwan leaves viewers an important message concerning children’s liberation.

In the ninth episode of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, the series introduces Bang Gu-ppong (Koo Kyo Hwan), the self-proclaimed commander-in-chief of a group he called the Children’s Liberation Army. Without parental consent, he took the children on a mountain to play, leading him to get sued and arrested.

The parents who claimed that Gu-ppong is a threat did not know that he had no intention to harm the children. He only wanted to make them happy through playing, leaving the unhealthy and constrained environment at school, which exhausts the kids.

During his trial, the brave Gu-ppong cited the Children’s Liberation Declaration, which he said to the children when he spent a day with them.

“Children should play right now! Children should be healthy right now! Children should be happy right now!”

After hearing these thoughtful words, Woo Young-woo (Park Eun Bin) defends Gu-ppong as he realized his true intentions. It moved Attorney Woo‘s heart that she eagerly tried to convince the judge and make the parents understand Gu-ppong’s actions.

Gu-ppong thanked Young-woo for her efforts and asked her to bring the children’s liberation troops to the day he would make his final statement in court.

When the children went to court and witnessed the trial of their commander-in-chief, Gu-ppong confidently conveyed an important message. He said,

“Let me tell a few words to the adults. Children should play right now. If It’ll be late later, it will be too late to find the only way to happiness in a life full of anxiety.”

He then repeated the Children’s Liberation Declaration with the children, and they all laughed and hugged each other, finishing the scene with a touching impression. In the end, Bang Gu-ppong, the commander-in-chief of the Children’s Liberation Army, became a happy memory in the children’s memory.
