The South Korean singer and actor, better known as D.O., is kicking off his 2025 Asia Tour, titled ‘DO it!’. Starting in Seoul this July, he’ll also be making stops in cities like Manila, Taipei, Singapore, Malaysia, and Bangkok, among others.
Doh Kyung Soo’s bond with the Philippines is special. This solo concert follows his incredible success during his ‘BLOOM’ fancon tour in 2024, where he sold out two shows. Expect an even more immersive and unforgettable experience with the ‘DO it!’ concert, as Kyungsoo showcases his remarkable vocal talents, magnetic stage presence, and growth as an artist.
He debuted as D.O. with EXO on January 30, 2012, through the release of their Korean version of “What Is Love”, a duet with fellow EXO member Baekhyun. EXO officially debuted on April 8, 2012, with “Mama”.
Doh Kyung Soo launched his solo career in July 2021 with the mini-album Empathy. The album, led by the track “Rose“, introduced fans to his acoustic pop style and lyrical depth. He not only penned the lyrics for “Rose“ and “I’m Fine“, but also showcased his linguistic skills by singing in Korean, English (for “Rose”) and Spanish (with “Si Fueras Mía”). Empathy was a massive hit, topping iTunes charts worldwide and selling over 310,000 copies in its first week.
In 2023, he released his second mini-album Expectation, solidifying his solo artist identity. The album, exploring themes of love and introspection, received critical acclaim. Tracks like “Somebody” and “I Do” demonstrated his growth as both a vocalist and a songwriter.
May 2024 saw him release his third mini-album Blossom, marking a new chapter under his agency, Company SooSoo. Featuring six tracks, including the upbeat “Popcorn” and the lead single “Mars”, the album reflects his evolving style, blending energetic pop with tender ballads.
Outside of music, he has built a successful acting career, starring in beloved K-Dramas like It’s Okay, That’s Love, 100 Days My Prince, and Bad Prosecutor, as well as films like My Annoying Brother, The Moon, and Along with the Gods, which became one of South Korea’s highest-grossing films. His acting talent has earned him multiple awards, including Most Popular Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2016, 2017, and 2019.
