Previously, two Korean dramas have confirmed its Netflix broadcast date. However, the recent COVID-19 surge delayed the official premiere dates of Private Lives and Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol.

First on the list in K-Drama on Netflix next month is Familiar Wife.

Familiar Wife used a concept which most marriage couples could only wish for — what if you could turn back time and change your spouse? Joo Hyuk (Ji Sung) felt trapped in what he perceived as a tireless cycle of work and home.

He was unable to do whatever he wanted and his wife Woo Jin (Han Ji Min) was mean to him and not at all loving. One day after seeing his college crush Hye Won (Kang Han Na), things took an unexpected turn. He woke up to a different wife!

Private Lives

Private Lives takes an honest look into the private lives of public figures in a society where there is little “real” privacy. This drama is an intimate story about real emotions, real relationships, real lives, and real consequences when things we desperately need to keep secret become public.

The series initially was set to release for September air date but has since moved to October 7.

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol follows a lovable pianist named Gu Ra-ra (Go A Ra), whose life hits rock bottom when her family’s finances collapse. Gu Ra-ra meets the mysterious Sunwoo Jun (Lee Jae Wook), a gruff guy who is happily living a carefree lifestyle as a freelancer. With laughter, tears and love, they come to mean something special to each other.

Expectant viewers are in for a treat since the production team behind Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol has quite an endearing reputation. Penning the script is writer Oh Ji Young whose works include the well-concocted My Secret Terrius and Shopaholic Louis. Calling the shots of the filming process is Director Kim Min Kyung who co-directed Matrimonial Chaos.

When My Love Blooms

A man and woman who were in love in their 20s meet again in their 40s, and find that they’ve both become different people during their years apart.

Comparing present to past, When My Love Blooms makes a convincing argument that though time may weather the love one holds for another person, sometimes, it cannot completely erase it. The series stars Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Bo Young, Park Jin Young and Jeon So Nee.


Start-Up

Tracing the story of young people passionately pursuing their dreams in the world of innovative companies, Start-Up is staged at Sandbox, the fictional Silicon Valley of South Korea in the series.

Boasting an impeccable lineup of actors Bae Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho and Kang Han Na, Start-Up tells the story of four young professionals who are all eager to prove their worth in the cutthroat world of start-up business industry.
