A Hundred Memories, premiering September 13, has unveiled its first stills of Heo Nam Joon, showcasing a character who’s equal parts untamed rebel and the embodiment of pure, unforgettable first love.
His role as Han Jae-pil promises to stir hearts as he becomes the fateful love interest of Kim Da-mi and Shin Ye-eun in this nostalgic youth melodrama.
Set in the vibrant yet turbulent 1980s, A Hundred Memories follows bus attendants Go Yeong-rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong-hee (Shin Ye Eun), whose radiant friendship is intertwined with their shared, bittersweet connection to Jae-pil.
Born the privileged son of a department store president, Jae-pil is the so-called “prince on a white horse”—handsome, wealthy, and admired. Yet beneath the polished exterior lies a boy scarred by tragedy: the childhood loss of his mother, his father’s swift remarriage, and the searing memory of helplessness that drove him to the boxing ring, fists clenched with a desire to land a “final blow” on the man who failed him.
The newly released stills capture Jae-pil’s layered persona—his gaze soft and romantic one moment, his expression tight and simmering with suppressed rage the next. In the ring, his sharp focus and raw intensity reveal the survival instinct buried beneath his golden-spoon façade.
But amid his inner storms, Jae-pil’s encounter with Yeong-rye and Jong-hee transforms him. Love begins to steer his course, sparking a tender yet complicated triangle where friendship and romance collide. The question is—whose heart will Jae-pil ultimately turn toward?
