Netflix Series “Somebody” Aims For Another Riveting Plot About Social Media App

Mystery-thriller drama Somebody preps to give the viewers a new story centering on the use of social networking app.

Directed by Jung Ji Woo and written by Han Ji Wan, Somebody revolves around the usage of many people in a specific social media application.

Kim Young Kwang plays the role of Sung Yun-Oh, an interior designer who is easily liked but keeps a detached demeanor.

 He is overflowing with charm but does not reveal his true feelings. But when he meets Som (Kang Hae Lim), a developer of social and chat app, he begins to reveal his true face. 


Meet The Main Cast of Somebody

Kim Young Kwang joined the lineup of Somebody and is set again to flaunt his charms and acting skills with his latest project. He is known for his works including The Guardians, Room No.9, The Secret Life of My Secretary, and his recent drama Hello Me!

Meanwhile, rising actress Kang Hae Lim would play the female lead Som. Although it is difficult to communicate with others, she has an extraordinary talent to develop an artificial intelligence chatting program and social connecting app. Her last project is the youth series, Live On.

Kim Yong Ji, who has been leaving lingering impressions on her recent roles also joins the lead cast. She is known for her roles in popular dramas Tale of the Nine-Tailed and The King: Eternal Monarch

Lastly, rookie actress Kim Soo Yeon emerged victorious in the fierce audition for her role Ki-Eun. She is a police officer and a decade-long best friend of Som. She tracks a mysterious case about Somebody app.

Somebody is yet to announce the release date on Netflix.
