The first stills of Shin Ye Eun in JTBC’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama A Hundred Memories promise a character who’s as fearless as she is unforgettable.
Penned by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram and directed by Kim Sang-ho, the series is a nostalgic youth melodrama set in the 1980s, following the vibrant friendship between Yeong-rye and Jong-hee—bus attendants on the iconic No. 100 route—and the bittersweet first love they share for Jae-pil, the man fate throws into their path.
Shin Ye-eun transforms into Seo Jong-hee, the rookie bus attendant who arrives at Cheong-A Transportation like a burst of color in a sepia world. With beauty, wit, and a mischievous spark, she leaves everyone talking—some drawn in by her femme fatale allure, others instinctively bracing themselves against her sharp edges. On her very first day, she stands toe-to-toe with the dormitory’s reigning queen bee, casually blowing a bubble with her gum as if to say, “I’m not here to play small.”
That bubble gum isn’t just a prop—it’s Jong-hee’s signature, a symbol of her poise, self-assurance, and unshakable spirit. Whether life throws charm or chaos her way, she meets it with a pop and a smile, making her mark as a woman who refuses to back down.
