The upcoming JTBC weekend drama A Virtuous Business generates buzz with four new stills featuring Yeon Woo Jin.

A Virtuous Business, premiering in October, is a provocative drama set in 1992, focusing on the lives of the Bangpan Sisters, who dive into door-to-door adult product sales at a time when such topics were taboo. The show delves into themes of independence, growth, and friendship.
Yeon Woo Jin plays Kim Do-hyun, a charismatic American-style detective who arrives in the rural town of Geumje. The released stills showcase his first appearance in the series: he arrives in a sleek jeep, spritzing Cool Water fragrance, and reveals his urbane city persona upon removing his sunglasses.
His presence, akin to that of a Hollywood star, causes a stir in the countryside, shaking up the local police station and capturing the attention of the town’s residents.
His arrival disrupts the Geumje police station, where his impressive background as a U.S.-educated, Gangnam-based officer creates a striking contrast. His polished American style and distinct mannerisms set him apart from his colleagues, who find his ways both intriguing and disruptive. Yeon Woo-jin’s character also brings an air of mystery with his unusual behavior, such as skipping company dinners, adding layers of intrigue to the storyline.
According to the production team, Do-hyun’s character is intentionally out of sync with the time and place of A Virtuous Business, which adds to his allure and the overall mystery of the show.
