Curious eyes keen to unravel the truth are seen in the lead stars of tvN’s new series, Blind.
Blind traverses the story of ordinary people who have become unfair victims and the perpetrators who only believe the uncomfortable truth.
Featuring a detective, a judge, a social worker, and a jury of nine people, Blind is a mystery thriller about their cooperation towards the truth that everyone has turned a blind eye to.
Accordingly, it draws stories of ordinary citizens who have become victims of resentment and perpetrators who have turned a blind eye to inconvenient truths.
Premiering on September 16, Ok Taecyeon (as Ryu Sung-joon), Ha Seok-jin (as Ryu Sung-hoon), and Jung Eun-ji (as Jo Eun-gi) search for the truth that everyone has closed their eyes to.
In the released character posters, the hazy-themed images highlight the light in their eyes reflecting their vigilance toward someone hidden in the haze.
Interestingly, the inscriptions on the posters draw attention because it contains information providing details about the character.
Two Brothers, A Social Worker and A Jury
First, Ryu Sung-joon, flaunts a prolific physique in the poster. He is a detective addicted to catching bad guys. Once he sets his target, he keeps an eye on it. Topping the arrest rate in the police station, he is a hot-blooded detective that viewers can look forward to.
Unlike Sung-joon, who has a fire in his eyes, his brother Ryu Sung-hoon calmly grasps the fog that has obscured all sides, without losing his composure. His sober expression, without the slightest warmth, complements his attitude as a “perfectionist judge who upholds law and principles.”
Jo Eun-gi’s poster, “the ‘human first’ welfare worker invited to the trial of death,” captures a different gaze from the brothers in front of him, leaving puzzling questions. Moreover, her cool look and the word “trial of death,” contradicts “human first”. Even in the face of the shocking reality of being caught up in a death trial, she does her best to do his job and shows her inner strength with a bold attitude
Correspondingly, the Ryu brothers and a selected people forming a jury are set to be connected in a mysterious serial murder case. It is curious who leads the serial murder case and whether the three will be able to find the true culprit hidden in the fog.
Blind premieres on September 16 on tvN!
