Joo Sang Wook portrays a man who can’t stand dating in the new ENA series.
True To Love is a romantic comedy between a man and a woman with opposing beliefs when it comes to dating.
The series depicts the contrasting views about dating by love coach Deborah (Yoo In Na), who says dating requires strategy, and Lee Soo-hyuk (Yoon Hyun Min), a publishing planner who says dating is sincerity. Interestingly, they will work together to create a book about love.
Director Lee Tae Gon helms the production with writer A Kyung and director Seo Min Jung joining him in the creative team.
Director Lee is known for dramas Mad For Each Other, Hello My Twenties 1 and 2 and This Is My Love to name a few. Rounding up the main cast are actors Hwang Chan Sung and Park So Jin.
Joo Sang Wook as Han Sang-jin
In the latest teasers released, Joo Sang Wook takes the spotlight as he characterizes Han Sang-jin, a CEO of a publishing company.
He is full of sense and has good manners, and is the mood maker who is always loved by everyone. Han Sang-jin, who goes back and forth between charisma and leisure, shows a CEO-like side full of ambition.
He is a person who enjoys a freewheeling life rather than a deep love, but it is never easy. As Lee Soo-hyuk’s best friend and business partner, he is his only relationship counselor, giving advice to him. Look forward to the bromance shared by Soo-hyuk and Sang-jin in the series.
Describing his character, the actor vouched for Sang-jin’s mood-making prowess. He attests that Sang-jin is a person who always triggers people’s laughter button.
Revealing he had fun filming, he also shared how he and Yoon Hyun Min have similar humor points leading to them easily becoming close to each other.
Joo Sang Wook also conveys the charm of Bo-ra! Deborah features sharp and open-minded advice in the stories of different couples.
“It shows the love that cannot be explained by a single definition and the many types of love melted into the situations of various characters. Realistic stories that everyone has experienced at least once will draw attention.”
