Revealing the four personalities of its lead stars, Brain Cooperation boasts a reliable and talented cast.
Slated to premiere on January 2 on KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday slot, Brain Cooperation is a brain science comic investigation drama in which two men who can’t kill each other solve a criminal case related to a rare brain disease.
It depicts the story of Shin Haru (Jung Yong Hwa), a neuroscientist with a special brain, cooperating with detective Geum Myung-se (Cha Tae Hyun), who has an exciting brain disease case with a twist.
Accordingly, the unveiled poster introduces the chameleon female leads that will decorate the series. As if looking into the brains of the characters, the 4-member poster maximizes curiosity as the brain structure expressed in different colors is depicted in the profile of the characters.
Jung Yong Hwa captures Shin Haru, a brain neuroscientist with an extraordinary brain. Complementing the intense red-colored poster, he flaunts a haughty and chic appearance. The text on his poster “genius talent” plus “there is nothing scary in the word” reflects his confidence.
Next, Cha Tae Hyun, who plays the role of detective Geum Myung-se, who is kind and considerate of others with an altruistic brain carries a free-spirited and friendly vibe. His helplessly compassionate attitude explains why he is described as “deadly good” and “seeking more profit for others” in his bright yellow-colored poster.
Then, Kwak Sun Young, who plays the role of Seol So-jeong, a legal hypnosis investigator with an anxious brain in a cool blue color. She raises arousing curiosity with her round screaming-I’m-smart glasses and a rigid posture. In particular, she is described as a worrywart while caring for others. She also struggles to cope well thus suggesting how she will grow in the future.
Lastly, Ye Ji Won is fully immersed in the role of Kim Mo-ran, who is the ex-wife of Myung-se. She possesses a sexual brain. Tue enough, she is seen in a provocative look with a hot pink jacket covering a unique dress. Hinting at her colorful personality, her TMI on the poster shares she’s sensitive to visual stimuli and activated emotion-related brain areas.
Asking viewers to look forward to the character and story development, the production team explains briefly the inspiration for the released posters.
“We wanted to intuitively show the characteristics and tendencies of the brains of Shin Haru, Geum Myung-se, Seol So-jeong, and Kim Mo-ran in various colors. Please look forward to the thrilling story development and interesting stories, how the characters with their distinct brains will act accordingly and become entangled with each other.”
Brain Cooperation will be broadcast for the first time on January 2 at 9:50 pm on KBS 2TV.
