Byeon Woo Seok Is Booked As Next Rom-Com King In “Lovely Runner”

The male lead of tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday series has swoon-worthy visuals that viewers will surely love.

Touted to continue the success of tvN dramas, Byeon Woo Seok takes the baton from Na In Woo (Marry My Husband) and Moon Sang Min (Wedding Impossible).

Announcing his emergence as the next-generation romance tvN romance, he will be working with Kim Hye Yoon when Lovely Runner premieres on April 8.

Adapted from the webtoon ‘The Best of Tomorrow’, follow Kim Hye-yoon as Im Sol in the upcoming rom-com, Lovely Runner.

Im Sol’s life gets turned upside down when she finds out her favorite celebrity, Ryu Sun-jae (Byeon Woo-seok), has tragically passed away. However, after shedding tears, she unexpectedly finds herself transported 15 years into the past when he was still alive. Will she be able to change his fate?

Byeon Woo Seok plays the role of Ryu Seon-jae, a promising swimming prospect in the past and a top star in Korea with perfect visuals, skills, and charm. With visuals optimized for a top artist and tall physique, expectations are high that Byeon firmly captures the attention of viewers and attract fans.

Im Sol was at a loss for what to do with her broken wheelchair when she saw Choi Ae’s real life. As Im Sol looks at Ryu Seon-jae getting closer through the falling snow, her whole body stiffens in surprise as if it were her dream. Ryu Seon-jae puts an umbrella on Im Sol, making her excited.

Meanwhile, Ryu Seon-jae’s bitter smile toward ‘fan’ Im Sol is captured, raising curiosity. Unlike Im Sol, who is startled by Choi Ae’s appearance Sun-jae’s sad eyes are full of unsaid stories. The sadness in his eyes raises curiosity about what kind of story he has.
