Genie TV’s original drama confirmed its airing in January 2023.
Starring Kang So Ra and Jang Seung Jo, 남이 될 수 있을까 Can We Be Strangers (LT) will be helmed by director Kim Yang Hee and penned by screenwriter Park Jin Ri.
Billed as a legal drama, it will depict the love and life growth of two divorce lawyers who end their marriage easily through divorce but actually struggles to part ways with each other.
Set against the backdrop of a divorce law office, the drama will capture the love and career of people in their 30s and 40s in a sympathetic approach.
Kang So Ra portrays star divorce lawyer Oh Ha Ra, aka the goddess of lawsuits. Meanwhile, Jang Seung Jo will be playing the role of Goo Eun Beom, her ex-husband whom she meets again as a colleague.
Can We Be Strangers marks the actress’ return to the small screen with a lead role since Revolutionary Love. In 2021, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter. And with her comeback, anticipation for her new project rises. Recognized for her authentic and praiseworthy acting, Kang So Ra appeared in various dramas such as Doctor Stranger, Misaeng, My Lawyer, Mr. Joe, and more.

Director Kim Yang Hee, who co-directed Our Blues, was well-received by giving warm support to viewers.
Set to be launched in 2023, the drama is also part of KT Studio Genie’s first original drama lineup including Gaus Electronics and Summer Strike.
Adding to the viewers’ expectations, West World Story will be producing the drama, the company that produced Im Si Wan and Ko Ah Sung’s drama Tracer.
