OCN’s new Saturday drama, Chimera, piques prospective viewers’ interest with its recently released tension-induced teaser.
Chimera chronicles the narrative of homicide detective Jae-hwan, profiler Yoo-jin, and surgeon Joong Yeop. Following that, they reopened a 35 years serial explosion and murder case for different purposes.
The trailer reveals the characters’ motives, the perpetrator’s identity, and the truth about the serial explosion and murder case. It provokes the viewers to sweat with suspicion and conflict between those paths forcefully crossed.
Previously, OCN unveiled its main poster. Subsequently, the video teaser was also unveiled.
To begin, Joong-yeop (Lee Hee Joon), asks Jae-hwan, who pays him a visit, “What kind of detective are you?”
Yoo-jin (Claudia Kim) is rushing somewhere at this point when a mysterious person passes down a rainy alley wearing a raincoat.
Furthermore, Jae-hwan’s narrative with a bereaved cry “Why did you kill him?” and the sight of him grabbing Jung-yeop’s neck with his keen gaze, creates tension in the drama.
Kim Hyo-kyung (Cha Joo-young) afterward emerged as a stunning investigative reporter for the UBS news agency. For the first time, she approached the case with a discerning eye, pursuing a scoop and seizing viewers’ curiosity.
Finally, the teaser’s closing scene of a blazing fire makes a great impression on viewers. It also heightens their anticipation for the case and the unveiling of the truth that awaits them.
Meanwhile, OCN’s upcoming drama Chimera is gaining momentum due to its astounding ambiance and intriguing plot. It premieres at 10:30 pm on Saturday, October 30. International fans can watch it on Viu.
