Connect teases the viewers with its new posters introducing the series’ main cast as it prepares to deliver an unsettling narrative.
On November 21, Disney+ released character posters of Jung Hae In (Snowdrop, Something In The Rain), Go Kyung Pyo (Love In Contract), Kim Hye Jun (Inspector Koo, Kingdom), and Kim Roi Ha (A Bittersweet Life) for its original series Connect.
With the combination of each character’s close-up face in sharp contrast, the ambiance they convey, and the rough painting effect that appears to be dark red blood running down, the released posters make notable impressions.
The posters captioned “the one whose eye was taken,” “the one who took the eye,” “the one who aids him,” and “the one who follows him” heighten the eerie atmosphere by compelling your intrigue in the backstories of each character.
In Connect, immortal Dong Soo (Jung Hae in), loses one of his eyes after getting kidnapped by a group that smuggles organs. The story revolves around the quest for immortality.
Based on the webtoon of the same name by Shin Dae-sung, this drama incorporates the creative and unique production of the master of Japanese genre films, Miike Takashi.
On December 7th, all six episodes will be made available on Disney+
