Sehun is going for a busy year with an upcoming film and now a new drama in motion on SBS.
Yonhap reported that the idol-actor joined the cast of Now We’re Breaking Up top-billed by Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong.
Sehun plays Hwang Chi-hyung, the son of a fashion company CEO, and the younger brother of Hwang Chi-suk (Choi Hee Seo), the head of the design team.
Previously, he has worked on dramas Dokgo Rewind and To The Beautiful You. He is also set to appear in highly-anticipated film, The Pirates 2 this year.
The drama is scheduled for broadcast in the second half of 2021. Writer Je In is in charge of bringing the drama to life. Je In is known as the writer behind the hit drama Misty. Meanwhile, Lee Gi Bok takes the lead as the director. Fresh off the success of Dr. Romantic 2, Director Lee sets off on a new challenge to a new kind of love story for drama fans.
Now We’re Breaking Up showcases different aspects of love. Most especially, the bittersweet pain of goodbyes.
