K-Travel: Here’s How To Visit The Hackberry Tree Featured In “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

Episodes 7 and 8 of Extraordinary Attorney Woo made all its fans root for Team Hanbada to save the highlighted hackberry tree.

Situated in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, the 500-year-old 16-meter-tall tree appeared in the hit series as a natural monument.

Shared by Korea Clickers on Facebook are photos displaying the resplendent and refreshing appeal of the impressive tree.

Notably, its appearance pushed the Cultural Heritage Administration on July 25 for real-life evaluation to check if it can really be designated as a natural monument!

As featured in the recent episodes of the series, the giant tree paved a way to save the fictional town of Sodeok-dong from being ruined because of road development.

The scene where the town’s leader gave a spontaneous tour to the lawyers of Hanbada gave a lingering message of a man’s deep-rooted love to his hometown as well.

Adding to that, the focal character in the story also had a key encounter with her mother under the hackberry tree.
