Chaebol group president by day and a detective by night, Jung Il Woo is surely set for an engaging role in Good Job!
Good Job is a hero-centric investigative drama with hints of romance about people with unique abilities: super-rich detective Eun Seon-woo (Jung Il Woo) and Don Se-ra (Kwon Yuri) with heightened vision.
In the drama, Jung Il Woo portrays the life of chaebol Eun Sun-woo who lives a double life. He is the head of the Eunkang Group and also runs a detective agency.
Growing up, Sun-woo is known to be an athletic and brilliant student. This proves that he can now easily switch from an intelligent businessman to a charismatic detective.
Correspondingly, in an interview, the actor relays his penchant for the romance-detective genre and his decision to choose the drama.
“I am drawn to this interesting genre that contains romance in a detective drama. It is also a big attraction that I can show various sides of myself rather than a typical chaebol through the character Eun Sun-woo, who lives a double life between a chaebol and a detective.”
Accordingly, he describes his character as a “self-absorbed tsundere”.
“Eun Sun-woo is a perfect man with all the wealth, ability, and visuals. If there’s anything he lacks, that’s humility. At first impression, he seems rude and arrogant, but once you get to know him, he evokes strong outside but warm inside personality.
When asked about his preparations for his double life role, he responded paying attention to the visuals to show the distinct contrast between his persona as a chaebol and a detective.
“I paid the most attention to the visual to show both sides with one character. I tried to express the image of ‘Young Boss’. Then, when I work as a detective, I wore a lot of disguises, so I paid a lot of attention to showing a more unconventional image.”
From there, he shares putting a lot of effort to fit the emotions of the characters.
Inviting the viewers to his latest work, Jung Il Woo promises a gift to the viewers.
“In this work, I think you will be able to see the fresh and different aspects of Jung Il-woo that you have never seen before like a ‘comprehensive gift set’. I am really excited and looking forward to delivering the gift set I prepared to the viewers as soon as possible.”
Previously, ENA also unveiled the teaser photos of Kwon Yuri portraying Don Se-ra. Raised in an orphanage, she was born with extra superior eyesight.
Aiming to make a lot of money; her story and transformations is another point to watch in the series. As reflected in her character teasers; she is seen doing different things.
The production team invites viewers to unravel the reason for Sera’s desire to acquire money and her supervision ability.
