Netflix announces the confirmed lead cast for Goodbye Earth.
Grabbing attention with the collaboration of director Kim Jin Min of My Name and Extracurricular and writer Jeong Seong Ju, which will undoubtedly be a work worth anticipating for the series.
Goodbye Earth tells the story of people living in a world in chaos in the last 200 days. This leads up to the foretold apocalypse when the Earth collides with an asteroid.
Meet The Powerful Cast of The Fool of the End
To begin with, Ahn Eun Jin embodies the character Jin Se-kyung. The actress is well-known for the drama Hospital Playlist, the Netflix Kingdom series, and The One and Only.
In the series, she claimed to be a junior high school technical instructor, but following an asteroid outbreak, she volunteers at Ungcheon City Hall’s Children’s and Youth Department, quietly battling to safeguard children from harm.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In, who made a hit with the Netflix series Hellbound, takes on the role of Ha Yoon Sang. He is Se-kyung’s long-term lover and a researcher at a biotechnology research institute.
Correspondingly, Jeon Seong-woo plays Seong-jae. He became an assistant priest overnight after the asteroid event was announced. He subsequently takes the place of the priest who vanished when the asteroid incident was publicized.
Playing the role of Kang In-ah is Kim Yun-hye who gained acclaim for her unique presence in the dramas Vincenzo and 18 Again. In-ah wanders across the ruins of Ungcheon City as the company commander of a combat service support unit, transporting supplies and maintaining security.
