An intense story about two people confronting a monster born out of greed is set to happen in Gyeongseong Creature.
Set to deliver thrill and action, Gyeongseong Creature follows individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong, the series is highly anticipated due to the sheer amount of talent tied to it.
Gyeongseong is the former name of Korea’s capital city Seoul, and the name used during Japanese colonial rule. The upcoming series invites audiences to 1945 Gyeongseong, the hotbed of turmoil caused by creatures that suddenly appear and wreak havoc on an already troubled world.
Park Seo Jun plays Jang Tae-sang. With his flawless appearance and skillful management skills, he holds all the necessary information about money, goods, people, and even people’s lives.
Meanwhile, Han So Hee plays Yoon Chae-ok who crosses from Manchuria to Gyeongseong with her father in search of clues about her missing mother and makes a deal with Jang Tae-sang.
“Gyeongseong Creature” To Take Viewers Back In Time To 1945 Seoul
In the teaser poster, Jang Tae-sang and Yoon Chae-ok are confronting a mysterious entity with expressions of tension. The long prison bars on either side of the two people also attract attention. The hands desperately stretched out towards Tae-sang and Chae-ok seem to be asking for help or trying to catch things flying in the air, raising curiosity about what is going on at Ongseong Hospital, a place where a huge secret is hidden.
Accordingly, the teaser trailer released together tells the story of Tae-sang and Chae-ok’s intense first meeting, as they join hands to survive and head to the most secret and darkest place together. Jang Tae-sang, who holds all the necessary information in the main town, is threatened to take away everything he has achieved so far if he does not find Inspector Ishikawa’s missing mistress before the cherry blossoms fall.
At a moment when Tae-sang is anxious because he cannot find any clues, he meets a father and daughter, Chae-ok who specializes in finding missing people. Chae-ok joins hands with Tae-sang to get his help while searching for her missing mother, and infiltrates Ongseong Hospital, where all her suspicions are directed.
Tae-sang and Chae-ok begin their fight for survival in the darkest place of their time. What huge conspiracy and terrible secrets will they face?
Gyeongseong Creature, a compelling story about wretched creatures and those who go up against them, will be released exclusively on Netflix. Part 1 will be released on December 22, 2023, and Part 2 on January 5, 2024.
