The lead stars of KBS2 drama Heartbeat look surprised in their first meeting.
Heartbeat foretells the cohabitation story between a half-human-half-vampire and a recluse woman who somehow starts living together and finds true warmth.
Ok Taecyeon portrays Seon Woo-hyul, a trendsetter who ensures he’s the first to try novelty items that come into the land as soon as it becomes available. He is also desperate to become a human.
Meanwhile, suiting up to the role of Joo In-hae is rising actress Won Ji An. Joo In-hae, a part-time health teacher and guest house owner, is sketched as a cold-blooded human. She finally becomes a person with humanity after meeting Seon Woo-hyul.
“Heartbeat” Previews Cohabitation Fantasy Romance Between Ok Taecyeon and Won Ji An
In the unveiled poster, Ok Taecyeon, who had been in his coffin for about 100 years to become a human looks baffled when his coffin was opened and sees his face.
Under the belief that ‘vampires are not reflected in a mirror’, he is presumed to have entered the coffin with a mirror. It stimulates curiosity about how his face would look in the mirror.
Won Ji An is shocked to see Taecyeon in the coffin. There are keys, bells, books, picture frames, etc. scattered all around, which makes us anticipate the unusual first meeting between the two.
The copy of the poster, “I told you not to open it until I am 100 years old,” explains the relationship between the two at once.
Indeed, it raises curiosity about what kind of inner story is contained between Ok Taecyeon, a ‘vampire’ whose heart does not beat, and Won Ji-an, a ‘cold-blooded woman’.
