“IDOL: The Coup” Acquaints Viewers With Fictional Top Boy Group – MARS

IDOL The Coup

JTBC’s new drama sneaks a cute teaser, although more of a bribe, by introducing the members of MARS.

Idol: The Coup threads on the story of individuals who are unable to let go of their unfulfilled dreams. It also chronicles the story of young people who proudly renounce their dreams.

Previously, the fictional girl group Cotton Candy was presented. This time, attention is focused on the lineup of the top boy group Mars, led by the character Jihan, who will be played by Kim Minkyu.

Jo Jun Young takes on the role of Ray, who is the brain of the group. With a splendid school report card, he does not miss being the school’s top student. Aside from that, he excels in singing and dancing.

Next, Hong Eun Gi is cast as Yul, a sweet guy in MARS with a friendly tone and a sad half-moon smile.

Portraying Taeyoung who has a handsome appearance is Baek Seo Hoo. He is known to be thrifty and whiny within the team.

Lastly, Lee Eunsang plays Dan, the group’s maknae who foretells to charm the female viewers’ hearts. Despite being the youngest, he doesn’t look like one and he is wise beyond his years.

Uniting as boy group MARS, these young actors will decorate their characters with charisma as popular world idols.

IDOL (Idol: The Coup) premieres in November on JTBC.
