Ok Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon are set for a nationwide investigation that will shake Joseon!
Together with its lead pair, the ensemble cast was officially introduced in the revealed main poster of Secret Royal Inspector Joy.
tvN’s 15th anniversary special Monday-Tuesday drama slated for November 8 unveiled Min Jin Woong, Park Kang Seop, Chae Won Bin and Lee Sang Hee in the poster.
Secret Royal Inspector Joy tells the comic investigation of a young and rich gourmet who unwittingly becomes a secret royal inspector. He teams up with an unhappy wife seeking a divorce on missions.
At the helm of the project is Director Yoo Jong Sun, who led the dramas What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and Designated Survivor: 60 Days. Penning the script is screenwriter Lee Jae Yoon of who worked on the film Girl Cops and dramas The Undateables and Tamra, The Island.
Previously, Secret Royal Inspector Joy revealed the cast and crew gather for a successful table read in preparation for the launch.
Meet the Main Cast of Inspector Joy
In the group poster released, the featured cast evokes a pleasant vibe just by looking at their faces. The smiling faces of the lead pair attract attention.
Ra Yi-eon (Taecyeon) is your perfect handsome elite man who gets suddenly appointed to a job that will push his peaceful life a 180-degree turn. His earnest dream to have a simple life gets shattered by the King’s order.
Meanwhile, Kim Jo-yi (Kim Hye Yoon) appears unfazed albeit her small stature giving off a strong personality. She dreams of challenging the traditional Joseon custom by flying in her own wings.
Characters full of personality who will act as assistants also attract attention. Yook-chil (Min Jin Woong) shows off the hip dance moves in the world as Goo-pal (Park Kang Seop) beats a traditional drum as if possessed. In addition, Bori (Chae Won Bin) elegantly spreads a fan, and Gwang-soon (Lee Sang Hee) shows graceful dance.
With fallen confetti, it signals the beginning of an amusing investigation by the main and supporting cast.
The production team of Inspector Joy hints at the synergy of Ok and Kim providing plenty of laughter. Moreover, the chemistry of the ensemble cast truly maximizes the fun.
