Eagerly-Awaited Reunion

Revealing his reason to accept the role, Ji Jin Hee remarked that his character is attractive.

“There was no reason to refuse to appear. When I read the script, there was a lot of action. There are many dramas drawn by young friends, but this work is something that actors of my age have to do. It weighs a lot. It is a rare work. I thought it was a good opportunity and thankfully I was able to appear.”

Kim Hyun Joo, who reunites with Ji Ji-hee four years after the drama I have a lover, admits having Ji Jin Hee onboard influenced her decision to take the role. She also relays wanting to appear on her own accord because she liked the script. Engrossed in the psychological changes from the breakdown of trust she believed to be attractive.

Acknowledging her portrayal as a lawyer when she previously worked with one, she conveyed her character Choi Yeon-soo would show deeper the image of a lawyer.

Director Song has only warm words to his main leads. He shared having worked with Ji Jin Hee before, he admires his sincerity in listening and organizing to the worries of the production team.

Likewise, he also praises Kim Hyun Joo for her fascinating prowess in showing a thousand faces for each character she played. She was able to handle well Choi Yeon-soo’s tenacity in keeping her beliefs, caring for the weak, and loving her husband.

Both actors have apprehensions for their reunion project, but they each get help from each other and rely on their familiarity that transcended from their successful pairing in I Have A Lover.

Undercover will be broadcast for the first time at 11 pm on April 23 via JTBC.
