Actress Ji Yi Soo takes the lead role in the upcoming romance-thriller drama Desire.
She has filmed many dramas such as Log In To You, My Fellow Citizens, and When the Camellia Blooms.
After her role as Park Sang Mi in When the Camellia Blooms, Yi Soo comes back again on her full potential as an actress that will make the audience in awe with her performance.
Directed by Kwak Gi Won and written by Park Gye Hyung, Desire is a healing romance-thriller of four men and a woman who has their distinct desires such as success, revenge, children, and love.
Along with Ji Yi Soo, other actors such as Lee Ji Hoon and Han Chae Young also affirmed their appearances in the drama’s lead roles.
Lee Ji Hoon also did a variety of dramas like Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, Woman of 9.9 Billion, and River Where the Moon Rises.
Meanwhile, Han Chae Young has shown her talent in acting and charms in A Pledge to God, Only You, and Delightful Girl Chun Hyang among others.
Their combination with Ji Yi-Soo gave lots of expectations to the viewers and how their desires push them to their limits.
Ji Yi Soo Explodes with Maternal Affection
Portraying the role of Park Da-som, a poor newlywed life, Ji Yi Soo challenges the role of a mother who strives hard to find a cure for his son, that has a disease.
Different from her role in When the Camellia Blooms, which revealed her various charms, Park Da Som unfolds the story of a mother who will do everything that she can to cure her child.
She has her sadness and struggles but assures that her number one priority is her son. This motherly love that extends beyond will make the viewers teary-eyed.
Meanwhile, Desire was produced through a business agreement between IHQ and Victory Producer which produced a variety of films like What Happened in Bali, The War of Money, and River Where the Moon Rises.
Desire is expected to air in the second half of the year.
