Jeon Do Yeon & Ryu Jun Yeol Drama “Lost” Marks JTBC’s Weekend Drama Restructuring

JTCB’S newest drama Lost, launches this September. It also officially begins the change of schedule in the weekend spot of the network.

Today, the channel announced the schedule of their upcoming drama Lost, airing this September 4 to be set on a weekend. It will open JTBC’s 10th-anniversary special weekend programs.

Lost narrates the story of a man and woman who realized that they had become nothing. while walking through the middle part of their lives.

Ryu Jun Yeol as Kang Jae is a man who fears becoming nothing while nearing the end of his youth.

Meanwhile, Jeon Do Yeon will portray Bu Jung. A woman who has lost the sense of purpose and feeling that she hasn’t accomplished her goals.

The main poster of the drama captures the melancholy of two adults who starts questioning their purpose in life and their youth. Both of the characters look through oblivion while a beam of light pours through them. It is a picture that easily captivates people as it presents the feeling of solitude.

In the newly released character stills, Lost provided additional details to its main leads.

Kang Jae is an agency service operator who dreams to be rich. He is willing to take risks just to achieve his goals. However, he seeks shortcuts for those dreams. This is will be his downfall, these mistakes will hinder him in fulfilling his dream life.

 

Bu Jung is a writer and she dreams to be a great writer someday. She tries the best she can but continues failing. After that, she struggles in life and losing the reasons to live. No matter how much she wants to achieve her dreams she is drowning in the problems that she is facing.

Gearing up for an inspiring message, the drama aims to encourage people who start to feel like they are not achieving anything in life. The two main protagonists chronicle a story that we can relate to. That includes how as we grow older we feel unsatisfied with anything in life when there are a lot of possibilities to explore.

International viewers can watch Lost on iQiyi beginning September 4.
