Esteemed actor Hwang Jung Min takes the role of Han Joon-hyuk, a reporter of the obituary section in a daily newspaper. He has been working for 12 years and once dreamed of becoming a reporter who pursues justice and truth. However, his passion cooled down after facing the reality of his career full of compromises and lies.

Picking Hush for his small screen comeback after eight years, Hwang revealed the reason for choosing the series. “I felt a strong attraction while looking at the script of “Hush”. It is a realistic and unique material,” the veteran actor said.

Im Yoona transforms into Lee Ji-soo, an intern who dreams of becoming a reporter. She meets Joon-hyuk and they engage to a mentor-mentee relationship, as she learns the rope of becoming a true journalist.

Expressing excitement to her new role, Yoona looks forward to his collaboration with acclaimed senior actor Hwang Jung Min. She added, “I will prepare so that viewers can deeply sympathize with Ji-soo’s character development. We ask for a lot of support.”

Based on novel “Chimmookjoouibo” by Jung Jin Young, Hush will be backed up by KeyEast entertainment. Forming the creative team is director Choi Kyoo Sik (Drinking Solo, Let’s Eat Seasons 2 & 3) and writer Kim Jung Min of Suits fame.
